Hello All,
We miss everyone and pray that you are all surviving the Covid-19 shutdown.
It was bad enough that speech and debate was canceled mid-season last year, but as a club we have been forced to cut back on some of our traditional summer gatherings in order to exhibit the greatest caution as San Diego/CA begins to reopen. So, the bad news is that we are postponing our annual awards ceremony until the end of the summer. We will keep you posted on that. The good news is that Ben and Susanna Hodge, and Tim and Vee White have agreed to serve on the Ex Nihilo Board of Directors.
We are very excited about the energy, enthusiasm, and commitment the Hodges and Whites will bring to the Ex Nihilo leadership team. To prepare for the upcoming season we have scheduled a Board meeting for July 11th via Zoom. We want to hear from you! Please take a moment to let us know how we can serve you better. What are the issues or concerns you may have that we can help to resolve? What do you want to see more of? Send your ideas and concerns to maryfyork@gmail.com. We will discuss your responses and get back to you directly as needed.
We covet your prayers as we search for a larger location for next year, and as we plan for the training needs for the club. We will stay in touch.
