Reminder, some families are traveling to Palm Springs this week for The Desert Gem (scripts have already been submitted), and some are finalizing scripts for The Camelback Classic in AZ (scripts are due at 5pm this Saturday, Jan 20th — take note this is during Desert Gem competition, for those attending both).
Students, please sign up for one block if you’d like coaching help. Use the waitlist area to sign up if we fill, or if you desire a 2nd speech block. We’ll adjust as best as we are able, based on parent availability. If not receiving coaching – enter any room to observe and help give feedback, as time allows! You do not need to sign up for a speech block if observing only.
Parents, there’s a desire to move toward a “one month rotation” – meaning coaches will remain paired up and assigned to a room for a month, allowing students to deepen their coaching with consistency and follow-up, as desired. If you are unable, please see Hillary, who is coordinating these efforts in hopes of best supporting our students. If we have additional parent help waitlisted, we can open additional coaching rooms. 1st-year parents, you are valuable coaches — thank you for diving in! If you’d prefer to follow your student and shadow other coaching feedback, you are welcome to — and if you feel comfortable taking on a coaching room, you are welcome to. Be encouraged to join in as best fits your family’s needs.
